Our “Clean Earth”* cards are made from a biodegradable PVC film. It feels and looks like a standard PVC card but has an extra benefit that other traditional cards lack, it does not hurt the environment. The cards begin the biodegradation process only when the card is introduced to a fertile environment, such as compost, land fill, or a trash dump. When decomposing the card will not emit any toxins into the environment.
The “Clean Earth”* cards are available with or without a magnetic strip for encoding information and are just as durable as any other standard PVC card. Think your will not be polluting the environment!
We are now also offering PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) card. PETG is an environmentally friendly plastic card material which exhibits the same properties as PVC. These cards can be recycled without creating harmful gases or polluting the environment. PETG material is widely used for VISA credit cards and bank cards. These cards are printed edge to edge.
